Situated in the center of Reykjavik, the apartment is on the first floor of a house built originally in 1909 by Samuel Jonsson (architect), who was also the father of Gudjon Samuelsson (architect) who designed amongst others Hallgrimskirkja and the National Theater. The house is of wood covered with corrugated aluminum.
Skolavörðustigur 35 is a good example of an early 20th century Icelandic house.
